Cotswold Edge Cottages

Our Cottages are set in the middle of peaceful countryside nestling at the foot of the Cotswold escarpment above the Vale of Berkley and the River Severn, our cottages are the perfect base for touring the South West and are ideally positioned for walking and visiting the local attractions or just relaxing in tranquil surroundings.

The Cotswold Way runs nearby, and there are many footpaths from your doorstep. Timeless ancient woodlands join the open common by which the properties are situated.

The cows that graze the Common in the summer are joined by deer, foxes and badgers. In May nightingales can be heard from the bedroom windows. Owls regularly hunt on the open Common, and skylarks, buzzards and woodpeckers nest nearby and rare flora are to be found a stones throw away.

There are many National Trust properties in the area as well sleepy hamlets, antique shops, stately home and craft centers to explore.
Bath (Roman Baths), Bristol (SS Great Britain), Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, Wesotnbirt Arboretum, Berkely Castle, Tetbury, Malmsbury, Castle Coombe, Forest of Dean, Gloucester are all within 20 miles.

Inlglestone Common is a very quiet area situated between Wotton-under-Edge, Badminton and Chipping Sodbury.
Horses, goats and chickens can be watched and fed in our fields and orchard.
